More Major Gifts!

Workshop with Charlotte Rhodes, ACFRE
Tuesday, October 5
9:00 am - 10:30 am

Are you leaving money on the table? Without a major gift program, the answer is most likely yes. The good news is, any size nonprofit can implement a major gift program, and the return on your investment of time and resources is far greater than your other fundraising activities, such as special events or annual fund appeals.

In this workshop, you will learn how to manage a major gift program with methods that work, gain a deeper understanding of why people give, and become more confident in your ability to secure major gifts. You will discover the means of identifying major gift prospects, strategies to prepare for a major gift "ask," and what to say during the visit.

Our instructor, Charlotte Rhodes' fundraising career spans four decades. She has raised over $1 billion dollars and managed numerous multimillion-dollar campaigns. Join us as Charlotte leads you on a path to major gift fundraising success.

2017 Executive Director Leader Circle

10 Sessions throughout 2017 (Half year now available)
8:15 am -- 10:00 am

In 2006, the Nonprofit Service Center launched the Executive Director Leader Circle to benefit nonprofit professionals in the panhandle. Nonprofit executive directors work in environments that are often isolated. They need a support group that can provide honest assessments and ideas regarding challenges, opportunities, and frustrations. The purpose of the Executive Director Leader Circle is to provide a confidential environment where nonprofit leaders can learn and interact with their peers. Each meeting offers a round table discussion or a featured speaker on topics vital to nonprofit leaders, as well as time for networking.
