Scholarship

This scholarship was established in November 1987 by the Amarillo Downtown Kiwanis Club.  It is awarded to college students attending West Texas A&M University who are active members of Circle K International.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must attend or plan to attend West Texas A&M University full-time during the upcoming semester;
  • Must have been an active member of Circle K International for the previous year and the current semester; and
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be eligible to apply.
  • Previous recipients are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants will be required to furnish additional information as part of the application process:  Submit a letter verifying membership in Circle K International for the previous year and current semester.

Scholarship Requirements

*Each semester’s payment is contingent upon meeting the following:

  • Recipient must attend college the fall semester immediately following selection;
  • Maintain full-time student status (typically 12 credit hours/semester for undergraduate studies);
  • Maintain a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA while in college; and
  • Attend West Texas A&M University and major in field of choice.
