NONPROFIT SERVICE CENTER
The mission of the Nonprofit Service Center is to challenge and equip nonprofit organizations to be self-sufficient and accountable through consulting, education, networking and resource services. 

The Center provides numerous educational sessions each year presented by local and nationally-known speakers.  These sessions are available at very reasonable rates with some offered free of charge.

Consulting services provided through the Center include:

  • Board/Staff Training
  • Strategic Planning
  • Executive Search
  • Specialized Workshops

During 2016, the Nonprofit Service Center provided consulting services to the following organizations:

  • Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners
  • Downtown Women's Center
  • Panhandle Promise Project
  • Driskill House
  • Oldham County Affiliate Fund
  • Swisher County Hospital Foundation Board
  • Texas Panhandle War Memorial Foundation

As a member of the Funding Information Network, the Center offers free access to the Foundation Directory Online (FDO) which provides information on private foundations across the U.S. and their funding priorities.  The FDO computer is available to the general public from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (except for holidays).
